I would really love the feature added to JotForm that allows the creation of formulas in matrix table cells. (Or a new table tool with the ability to add formulas to cells.)
I often need to create a form that contains a table/matrix where some of the cells sum. (Timesheet, expense report, etc.) I know this request has been made in the past. (I have seen posts asksing for this feature for the past several years.)
Table with 10 rows and five colums.
Columns: Date, Description, Hours, Rate, Total. Total field multiplies hours by bill rate.
Then the last row would be totals for each numerical column.
Using the PO payment function does not accomplish the needed goals.
Does JotForm ever plan on adding this feature?

Julie, thank you for provided information and great example. It might be really helpful for our Developers.
Yes, we have plans to implement some kind of calculation feature, but we can not provide any ETA for now. Our Developers are working hard on improving the service and implementing new features, however, they have to prioritize their task and implement more important things first.
Now I have created a ticket about your request, and forwarded it to our Developers. We will keep you updated via this thread.

I came across this Q&A while searching for a way to calculate the sum of matrix columns. I'm sorry to see that it is not yet possible and just wanted to add my voice to the feature request.
Thank you to the devs for any attention you can devote to this option.

I too would also really like to have calculation features in the report builders.

I know it's been awhile since this was requested but you're vote is noted as well. I would also like to kindly and strongly urge you to open up a separate New Thread with your request for this as well to help add to the demand for this need. Our New Features and Integrations are highly comprised of User Demand for adding things and improving them. So if there are lots of requests of the same type of need this then chances of this happening are seen as much greater. Though this may also be dependant upon our Dev Teams current tasks at hand but they do get prioritized and will be considered upon being looked at. :)
