How to have free option on Payment form

I have a form that has two options one that is free one that charges. If people select the free option it is still requiring them to enter their credit card details. How do I prevent this from happening.

Because the Free option is still part of the payment field, the payment integration will always trigger the normal payment requirements like the credit card and billing address.

The workaround you can do is to set up the FREE option using a separate field outside the payment field.
