editing the 'BILL to Address' and 'SHIP to address' fieids

    The 'BILL to Address' and 'SHIP to address' sections display the field names with the entered data in the Notification emails as below:

    Street Address: xxx
    City: xxx
    State / Province: xx
    Postal / Zip Code: xxxxx
    Country: xx

    Is there any way to edit the feilds so that they just display the entered data and not the Field Names?

    Hi DaveKnoll

    After some experimentation with a clone of your form, I discovered that removing the sub-labels (by clicking them and hitting "Delete") removes the field names. However, I was unable to remove the colons. Also, I was unable to replace the sublabels with "Hint Examples" (like the text shown by default in email fields). The only other alternative to replace the sublabels was "Hover Text" but in my opinion, that's not an ideal solution.

    I will put in a request for a way to easily hide field names but I can't give a time frame regarding its implementation.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove those field names.  You may remove the field names from your form for it not to show up in submissions but this will confuse the people using your forms as well what those fields are for.

    It will actually be easier to parse them when you have those field names as place holders.  Is it possible for you to share with us what you have in mind why you wish for them not to show up?

    I suspect the user wants the field names removed from the notifications so that the addresses can be read naturally, as they would appear on an envelope. Of course, it would be desirable to retain the labels in the submission records for mail merge purposes.

    DaveKnoll, it just occurred to me that if the text of the field names were replaced with images, your goal could be accomplished but I think it would take considerable skill to use CSS to place the images in just the right positions, taking into account various browsers. Also, using images would be problematic for mail merging.

    No, it is not possible to disable those fields. You can remove the payment field from emails and submission reports if you would like, but if you include that field, the additional PayPal account data will always be included and there is no way to remove it.
