Hi, I'm trying to make sense of the External Custom field type when creating a custom widget.

I want it to be a popup embed:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/gx72Y4pbBU

But that doesn't seem to create a button like it sounds like it should:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/yVec6ny2

It just embeds the iframe similar to the Direct iframe option.

    How does the feature work?

Also, how can I set the height for that Iframe?  its way too small to put anything in there.

and please don't ask me to email api@jotform.com. I've emailed that many many many times in the past and never once got a response. I don't believe anyone reads that email.

I would like to apologize for any inconvenience. Based on the description, setting the Embed Type as "Modal Lightbox" should open the external URL in a modal when a button or a link is clicked.

Please allow me to escalate your concern to our developers so they can have a closer look at the issue.

Once we have an update we will notify you in this thread the soonest.
