Testing Square in Sandbox Results in Error Message

    Greetings,

    I've tried many times, all unsuccessfuly, to use the Square test credit card info in the sandbox - 4111 1111 1111 1111 111 12/21. Every time I get the "Square Payment Error" message (screenshot attached).

    I have Test checked in both places. I've cleared my browser history. I've signed on and off Square. None of these made any difference. 

    I'm at a loss as to what to try next.

    Your help would be appreciated.

    You will also need to toggle Test Mode in the Additional Gateway Settings options:

    Yes, I have checked Text Mode as YES in both places every time I've tried to process the Square test CC card. I get the same error message every time.

    I have cleared cache, I have deleted and reinstalled the Square widget. And now, when I press Continue to save settings, I get disconnected from Square. When I try to reconnect with Square, Squares says I'm successfully logged in and then JotForm say "Connecting" and then almost immediately "Connect with Square".

    I've signed off JotForm and when I sign back on it says Square is  "Connected". However, when I change Test Mode to Yes under Additional Gateway Settings and press Continue to save the settings JotForm disconnects me from Square and then I can't get connected again.

    So now I have two problems:

    1 - I can't get connected to Square

    2 - I can't use Square's text CC info in the Sandbox

    HELP!!!!

    Your form appears to be already connected to Square. Is your connected Square account a sandbox account? Please note that it has to be a sandbox account in order to test the sandbox mode.

    Well, this is the first I've heard about having a Square sandbox account. Is there a way of testing the CC processing without a sandbox account? Can I just put it in Test mode and enter a real CC??

    Real credit cards only work for non-sandbox/personal accounts. The test credit card only works in the sandbox account.

    So if you do not have a sandbox account you can try the form in live mode. Just add a product that costs $1 or $0.01 then use your credit card to test your own form.
