Remember User Input DataAsked by tarbellforms on May 06, 2013 at 04:38 PM
Is there a way user text inputs can be remembered from the very last time they've entered data?
For instance, User fills out a form and enters his name, address, phone and email. Since that same user will be filling out this same often, is there a way to make the browser auto populate those fields for him?
Thank you for contacting us.
If you need this option for incomplete submissions, it is quite easy to enable the 'Continue Forms Later' feature. It is based on browser cookies, so user will need to use the same browser to see saved data.
However, if you need this for completed submissions, it can be really tricky and require a lot of hacks, since we do not provide direct access to the database.
We can add a feature request if you would like to populate the data from previous submissions.
I have moved your question to a new thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1066064
We will reply to that thread shortly. Thank you.
