    Captcha is not working.

Asked by RCB on April 12, 2011 at 03:03 PM

I have posted the code on my page and

*first, I have set the fields to be '*Required" yet the form is still being submitted with empty fields

*second - the Captcha Code is not being displayed

You can see my page here: Newsletter & Contact Me

Can you help me solve this problem?

    Thank you.

NOTE: I am also using a WordPress app called SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam to help block spam on my blog comments.

How can I fix the above

    Hi,

One of the more usual causes of this problem is when Javascript is turned off in the visitor's browser. Javascript is responsible for the validation of required fields as well as for captcha. Without Javascript, users will able to bypass all validations in your form, resulting to an incomplete or worse, an empty submission.

To alleviate this problem, you may want to advise your visitors to Enable Javascript in their browser. You could even provide links on how to enable Javascript depending on the browser they are using. These are a few links that may help:

    Enable JavaScript in Mozilla Firefox

How to turn JavaScript on usingGoogle Chrome

Enable Active Scripting in Internet Explorer
