What happened?  These two boxes that show the large text were in line with the two on the left and the font was the same size.  I closed the form and went back to keep working and now they're huge.  I didn't make this change and according to the font size, they're 11pt font.  They don't look this way however: https://take.ms/oU07j

I had to recreate the boxes.  Now it looks ok.  But right before this, I had gone into the form properties and updated the font color to black.  I did this within the pdf properties itself.  I saw some </div> html behind the text box so maybe that caused it to go weird.

No.  Not fixed.  Now I've left the PDF designer and returned to it for all of the boxes in the center of the form to have the font resized.  This is not desired.  I need it to be 11pt and black text.  Apparently when I reformatted the PDF itself to show black text, it caused these boxes to get messed up.

I assume you are referring to this portion:

I went ahead and made it black and 11pt. I also did saw the change you made with the source code. Please note that not all CSS codes can be used in the PDF. As such, I would suggest to refrain editing the source code unless you know entirely the consequences.

I'm not referring to that portion.  I sent a screen shot of the section right above that.  The text is much larger than I've set it to be.

The source code was not changed by me.  I went into the PDF properties and told it that all text should be black.  That source code was changed by way of my telling the PDF what color all font should be.

Removing the source code doesn't help and now the section above that isn't 11pt.

I can see that you are referring to this part:

I just tried downloading one of the submissions and here's how it looksL

The values and descriptions were not aligned. I suggest creating both in just one box so to ensure they are aligned. Here's an example:

You can actually format the style of the QUESTION TEXTS and ANSWER TEXTS separately.

They’re not aligned because the font is too big.

I need it to be 11pt.

when I made the change to the color on the pdf settings it messed them up.

they were fine before that change.

I have tried adding 4 more breaks on this field and it seems to resolve the issue:

Here's how it looks when the PDF is downloaded:

The description and values are now aligned. Please try that too on the other box.

I need the font to be 11pt!  The font is too big.  It was perfect before I went into the pdf settings.

I don't wish to add more breaks or band aid the issue.  If the font can be SAME SIZE as the "contract total" items, it will solve the problem.

Adding breaks doesn't solve the issue.

    Hi,

I tried to change the font to 11pt, but it's still not aligned correctly.

It seems that my colleague's advice to add the breaks on the source code resolves the issue.

Kindly try it on your end. Let us know if the issue still persists.

There are other reasons I need the font size to match. Are you not able to get it back to that?  It doesn’t fit on the page either. I do not want the font that big!!!

Also my question has nothing to do with the alignment. I’ll worry about that myself.

I set the font at a certain size and it’s not maintaining that. AFTER I changed the PDF settings to black font.

I understand. Let me run a few more tests and get back to you on this thread as soon as I found a solution.

Okay. So I have actually set the font-size of the value fields into 11pt by modifying the div style of the field below. If you'll take a look at the PDF Editor, I have created a copy of your original PDF and performed my tests there.

I think you can see that it’s not 11 or though. It’s significantly larger than the other boxes on the pdf.

I can see that it's set to 11pt in the text editor but in the actual code, it's 12pt. I'm not quite certain but it could be due to the limited font sizes in the editor.

For now, you can try my colleague's suggestion to force the font size to 11pt by wrapping the entire source with a div element that has 11pt font-size in the style attribute.

    Example:

If you don't like this workaround, try 10pt or 12pt in the font-size option for now, whichever worked better for you. I don't know why this is quite of an issue but let me still escalate this to our developers for further investigation as I don't really understand why 11pt is the default font size while it is not available in the font size option.
