Question - how to prevent pop-up form from repeating display after seeing?

Is there a way I can reduce a pop-up/form from reappearing each time I revist my landing page?  I want the form to appear for capturing emails from for future campaigns - but after captured - don't want the form to keep appearing.  I believe if I select remember cookies and IP address this will stop from occuring -- no??  Maybe there is another way.

I'm used to a MODAL on my site that automatically allows the view only when browser is refreshed - maybe I'm missing a way to allow this to happen with your forms? (Note, my modal option doesn't support code/embed options.)
