How to display a personalized link on the thank you page?

Asked by ConfuciusClassrooms on May 10, 2013 at 09:54 AM

    Hi,

I am trying to set up a form that allows people to come back and finish completing at a different time. In order to do that, I would need to set up a personalized link and a email message that gets sent to the person that fills in their email address. However, some of the email message might go into spam. Therefore, I would like to display the link on a thank you page. But the Thank you page does not give the option to insert a link that displays ?={email}, how do I go about doing that? This is what I am trying to achieve, see screen shot = A Thank you page with an personalized link.

    Hi,

You may consider checking this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later. Note that this guide will only work if they have not submitted their entry. After they click "Submit" button, the session URL will not catch the previously entered data since it was submitted already. You may consider adding the "Edit" link too, so they can edit their submissions anytime.

We also have this guide: How to Enable Auto Fill Feature | Save Form Entries to Continue Later, this is using our new Feature without using any workarounds such as the Session URL. Although, this will not work if they continue using a different computer.

    Thanks
