See my image for my question.
- TellmemoreAnswered on May 13, 2013 at 04:27 PM
I see that my image does not show up at 100%; so here is the text of my question:
As you see here, I have to reduce my browser window to 50% in order see the popup window in its entirety. Please fix it so that the entire page can be seen at 100%.
- jeanettebmzAnswered on May 13, 2013 at 10:51 PM
Have you tried this in Chrome?
- TellmemoreAnswered on May 14, 2013 at 02:43 PM
Nope, that's not it. Using Chrome, I have to change the size to 75%! And, and I have to reduce my Firefox window to 80%. (I used the new page style in both Firefox & Chrome for these attempts.)
Both browswers are up-to-date; seems like the issue might be with Jotform.
Actually, what would be better is if new popup windows would just open in new browswer windows instead.

I may not be able to view the top part of the form but I can scroll down and click continue. Also, previewing the form opens in a new window.
If possible, may we know your device type and the current screen resolution? Have you tried reducing your screen resolution? Your screen shows a short resolution which is probably around 800x600, I would suggest to check that on your device.
Also, I would recommend using the new my forms version as it's more updated and has a new way of creating form from templates.

Well, one needs to see the entire popup window because that is where the X is for closing them, and/or we need to see all the templates in each row.
BTW, my earlier entry was re the new style pages.

Let me take this into our higher team and see if they can commit a fix for this but there's no assurance for that since we have a new version of my forms already.
Regarding on the window that opens in a new browser tab instead of modal, I think it would be better to open the form templates page instead. Form Templates. This way, you will have the full control of the window area instead of choosing a template from a small modal window.

Thanks for the templates address--that's much easier! I do not like the modal windows!
BTW, my screen is an LG widescreen, set at 1024 x 768.
- ssmediatorAnswered on May 15, 2013 at 07:44 PM
I'm the same: resolution 1024 x 768; LG wide screen.

Oops, I (Tellmemore) was looking at my sub account and didn't realize that when I posted a question, that it would do so as the sub account. So, the last post from "ssmediator" is actually from me. Hopefully, this will post with the proper user name.

Got it! Thanks! I already escalated this to our higher team. We'll let you know for any updates. Thanks!

Unfortunately, we do not maintain the old version of the My Forms page any more. We recommend switching to the current version of the My Forms page.
- TellmemoreAnswered on June 10, 2013 at 01:42 AM
Update: I am using the current version of the My Forms page; even so, I am still having the issues as previously mentioned...pop-up (modal) windows being too big and so I must reduce the FF window size down to a very small size.
One of the modal windows giving me grief is the Preferences/Form Styles. I must shrink my FF window so that I can see that Modal window in its entirety.

I can't seem to replicate the problem. It might be a browser related issue on your side, I would suggest to reset your browser or remove the unnecessary bookmarks or favorites that makes your browser content area smaller. According to your screen, you seem to have few tool bars, that reduces the content area length. Removing that temporarily might help. Thanks!
- TellmemoreAnswered on June 10, 2013 at 04:46 PM
Well, as you see in the attached image, even in Chrome the modal windows are too big.
My suggestion: do away with modal windows and just have popup windows open in a new tab; that way there shouldn't be an issue of its size. That's my 2 cent's worth.
- TellmemoreAnswered on June 10, 2013 at 04:47 PM
I cleared my browser cache too!
- JotForm SupportEltonCrisAnswered on June 10, 2013 at 09:27 PM
Thanks for the additional details. I have tried using 800x600 screen and even tried viewing JotForm on netbook 10 inch, I can view the modal window fine. There's a little cut on the top part though you can scroll down and close the button there. So far, I haven't encountered similar reports about this so I have no clue what exactly causing this on your side. Probably a screen size or some settings since browser size wouldn't matter at all because the modal stays as it is even when you resize the browser window. What I can suggest for you in order to remedy this on your end, try going to "full screen mode" by hitting "F11" on your keyboard. This would be more convenient done resizing the page content.
- TellmemoreAnswered on June 11, 2013 at 02:25 AM
OK, the full screen mode shows most of the modal window, so that'll do for now. Thanks for the suggestion.
