    Can you increase the amount of space between labels and answers?

    Asked by mariebradshaw on May 15, 2013 at 01:00 PM

    I know you can increase the label width, but when a label text wraps to to the next line, it almost touches the field to the right. Can I increase the padding between the two?

    Hi,

    You can adjust the label width then add "br" in the middle of the question.

    Here is the demo form. I adjust the label width to 230. Thanks

    @mariebradshaw

    Alternatively, you could inject the following CSS to affect all of the form's labels:

    label-left {
    padding-right: 20px;
    }

    The result can be seen in this clone. The width of the margin (highlighted in red above) can be adjusted to suit.

    Thank you. I tried injecting that code but it didn't seem to work. I have other code in there as well. Here's what I have. Is there somethign I'm doing wrong?

    .form-all { margin: 0px !important; }.form-line { padding-left: 0px !important; } .form-required { display:none; }label-left {

    padding-right: 20px;

    }

    It seems that .form-label-left class name was accidentally truncated on Abajan's post. Please try the following:

    .form-label-left {
    padding-right: 20px;
    }

    Thank you.
