Custom subject line is missing information

    for the notification emails, I've set up a custom subject lines as follows for several emails:

    {form_title} from {firstName} {lastName}

     

    the problems is that the first and last name information is missing from each one. That is for each form I've set up this way and each email I've received, the first and last name is missing from the subject line.

    Can you help me with this?

    Hi Doris

    The problem is that the tags you used for the first and last names are incorrect. Replace {firstName} with {fullName:first} and {lastName} with {fullName:last}

    Try it and let us know if that fixed the problem.

    Thanks! I get it - those were the old tags imported from the old v2 form version.

    No problem, Doris. If the tags I have provided do not work either, try {fullName33:first} and {fullName33:last} respectively instead. I will run a couple of test submissions on a clone of your form to find out which tags are correct and get back to you.

    EDIT: LOL! I see that you have already discovered that it was unnecessary to use {fullName33:first} followed by {fullName33:last} when simply using {fullName33} would suffice in this case. I was just about to draw this to your attention but as the saying goes, all\'s well that ends well.
