How can I allow end-users to add additional entries?

I have a field that could contain as little as 1 entry or as many as 40. Is there a way for the end-user to duplicate that field to add more entries when needed, but without my having to place every one on the form so as to not make the form longer than it needs to be for the majority that will only enter in this field once or twice?

Might there be a dropdown where you ask them how many entries, they choose it, and that many fields populate? Any ideas on how to work around this if not?

Hi,
Thanks for contacting us. We don't have a function to dynamically add fields into the "live" form but you can accomplish the same by adding the "more" fields into our form builder and use our Conditional Logic to show those fields whenever the user will set how many fields to show.
1. Add the fields to the form. If you have multiple fields to show, I suggest you to use the guide here: How to Hide or Show Multiple Fields at Once Based On a Single Conditional Entry
2. Add the "Spinner Field" into your form. This field is under "Survey Tools"
3. Set your Conditional Logic (Show/Hide Condition), to the "more" field like this:
Just repeat the processes:

Let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thanks

What I mean for "more" fields are the 40 repeating fields you've mention.
Thanks
