I connected a form to mailchimp. The form submits data to our SharePoint Web Server, requests a trial key and optional, if desired adds a subscriber to a mailing list.
Everything works pretty well, except that a property defined in MailChimp ("Interested in") is not set when the subscriber is added to the list. I need this value to segment the list for our campains.
You can verify this with the form, subscribing to the newsletter and finally viewing you mailchimp profile ...
Would be great if you could provide a quick solution to this.
kind regards, Michael

Hello Michael, I took a look at your form and after testing this I got an error returning to your website. Based on the error regarding " SharePoint ". I think that this might have something to do with your website using Sharepoint.
The " Interested In " field you are speaking of on your form should be listed and mapped inside your MailChimp as well otherwise the data won't go through. Did you create this inside it? I'm not seeing a field on the form to match this so that is why it's not being recognized. Make sure you've created this as a field inside of MailChimp.

Thanks for your reply. The error on SharePoint has nothing to do with it, it results from submitting post data from a "non registered" form, SharePoint does not know what to do with the data.
When you use the link in my first post it works perfectly. The formID is 31082236337954, if you want to dig deeper.
The "interested in" field exists in MailChimp and can be selected in the integration wizard. Interested in is a multi choice field and in the wizard the apropiate value is checked but when I submit the form the value is not set in MailChimp. I can't review if the value is still checked in connection settings because it seems to be impossible to rerun the integration wizard without removing the integration before.
You can try it. Use the link in my first post, sign up for the newsletter, opt in via the link in the e-mail and then view your profile. You will see that none of the check boxes in interested in are checked.
I hope that now you can solve the issue.
kind regards, Michael

Michael, thank you for provided details.
I was able to reproduce the problem with Mailchimp Groups ('interested in' option in your case).
Now it has been escalated to our Developers. They will try to fix this as soon as possible.
We will get back to you via this thread.

As of today, the exact same problem is happening with my account, so I guess the ticket shouldn't be closed.
The adress for the form:
It is not using the checkbox to add the group information.
Did it work before?
