I’m trying out the coupon thing. I gave out coupons for $15.00 however, if they want to spend more than $15.00 it doesn’t let them pay the difference….?

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Hi,

You have set a 15USD Flat Rate to "All Items" then some of your items are below this amount. It won't work that way. The 15USD will be deducted to "each" of the item. Not from the TOTAL. You may consider the percentage instead. Say 15%.

    Thanks

Then why offer when I set up to make $15.00 coupons wthin your system?

My products are more than $15.00 so I'm not sure how its possible to do this as a percentage

    @Cinderella

When a product is lower than the coupons amount, it will be automatically set to zero "0" if the coupon is applied. Unfortunately we do not have option that deducts the total amount of the products instead it deducts the product amount itself.

I am not sure if this is what exactly you mean, perhaps if you could clarify it a bit further we can submit that as a request for the enhancement of the coupon feature.

    Best Regards!

    When I purchase something for $15.00 and I have a $15.00 coupon, I’m fine.
However, When I purchase something for $20.00 and I have a $15.00 coupon, it doesn’t work. I am not sure how to make percentages work when I’m trying to make something free, but giving them the option of purchasing more and paying for the extras.

For example, if they want more than one $15.00 item, that’s fine, but they pay for the extras. Not everything on my site is $15.00 some is .50, $1.00 or even $20.00

    Hi Cinderella,

It should supposed to work. So far I don't see $20 product on your form so I have created a demo for you.

    Form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/31498973607973?

    Coupon: 1234

It shows the remaining $5 of $20 since the coupon amount is $15. However, the other product $15 becomes zero since it's substracted by $15 coupon. You can see that on the demo form.

Also, can you please confirm if what you are referring is this? Example:

    Produc 1 - $20

    Product 2 - $15
    _______________

Total: $35 $20 (Total minus $15 from the coupon)

We do not have this as we've mentioned previously but we can submit this as a feature request if this is really what you mean here.

    Thanks!

It makes a $19.00 sale free now rather than take off the $15.00 making the owe 4.00

Oh I understand… It can only be used on one item, not a total..
Any suggestions on how to do this? I didn’t realize I didn’t have my shopping cart integrated with my other form

This feature is still in beta. So, we appreciate your feedback. I think supporting flat $ discount on the total is a very useful feature we should have. We will work on it and let you know about it.
