Condition for autoresponder email is not working

I have conditioned my form so when the submission is approved, an autoresponder email will be sent to the requester as shown in the picture

But apparently it is not working. I believe the problem is with the condition because when I disable it the autoresponder email is going through perfectly

I have tried to use "is filled" and "is equal to" but they are both not working.

Previously I have tried this condition and it's going through for the first 3 submissions but suddenly they are not working anymore.

Also, although I have enabled send on edit for this form but the autoresponder email is not sent again when there is new edits.

Hi Christina, thank you for reaching out.

I have checked your condition logic on a copy of your form and I found some missing fields which are causing errors and may have possibly been the reason why your autoresponder had stopped working.

Kindly please have a look at the missing fields and resolve the errors and see if the auto-responder would work again.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thank you for the response. Actually the missing field is a field I deleted at last moment and it did not affect the auto-responder problem. I have edited the condition but the issue is still there. You can check again the form link I've sent you before.

    Please advise

    Hi Christina,

I'm sorry but I can't seem to replicate the issue due to my test form submissions are being rejected rather than approved.

I tried to disable the conditions but the submission still got rejected, may I please clarify how exactly you can do test approval so that I can further confirm the issue and isolate what's causing the autoresponder not to work?

    Hi Bert,

I actually have 2 autoresponder email where one is for approved submission and one is for rejected submission. Initially I want to make condition for both of them where if CEO is "Approved" you get Autoresponder Approved sent and vice versa for "Rejected" option.

Since I've only set condition for "Approved" which at the moment is not working, that is why you keep receiving email that it is rejected. But it does not mean the Rejected one is working, I just have not set any condition for that one because I want to resolve the issue with "Approved" one first. If you delete the email condition for Approved one I believe you will receive both Approved and Rejected autoresponder email. Hope you understand my explanation.

So, the process would be like this:

    1. User fill the form

    2. Notification email will be received by CEO

    3. CEO will edit submission and choose "Approved" or "Rejected" and then Submit

    4. User receives Autoresponder Approved email if it's approved and vice versa

Hi, the "Autoresponder Approved" is not sent to the person since the Email field gets cleared upon submitting through the edit link. This happens due to the following Form Setting that clears the values of fields that are hidden through conditions:

Please select "Don't clear", and that would solve the problem:

Note: you may now calibrate your condition to "equal to" instead of "if filled":

Also, please disable this condition as it hides the CEO fields, which will not allow him to approve or deny the submission:
