    Confirmation E-mail Input Field Problem

Asked by sad4mxp on May 28, 2010 at 07:05 AM
I have several fields that are duplicates of each other (one for each person in a single party registering at the same time on my site), but the "fields" in the confirmation e-mail setup are not being distinguished from each other. They are distinguished fine in the reports that I can download or the submission e-mail that I receive. In the confirmation e-mail setup, however, when I click on their pointers in the right hand pane, they each insert the same {example} field into the body of the e-mail. The other sets of duplicate fields insert correctly as {name32}, {name45}, etc., it's just this one set of duplicate fieds that each show up as the same. Any thoughts? Is there another way to read the field ID so that I can just input it manually? Thanks.

You can also find out the IDs for fields by looking at the source code of the form.
