Collapse field feature fail in a Wordpress settingAsked by Masalamedia on June 13, 2013 at 01:46 PM
I have a form with accordion features here:
The accordion features fail to open or close when embedded in that page (a Wordpress site).
The developer of my WP theme (a fairly popular one, "Striking") has conveniently passed blame to Jotform, but I actually don't care about the blame... just trying to isolate the conflict. Can you see anything that might be preventing the form from working on my site? Yes, the form works OK in standalone mode... so we know there is something about the Wordpress/Theme/JF combo that is conspiring to cause the Fail. Its just that my limited understanding of the underlying technologies is preventing me from seeing an obvious solution.
Thanks for any light you can shed on this.
JotForm site thanks solution
How about using our Jotform WordPress Plugin? Check it out: http://wordpress.org/plugins/embed-form/screenshots/.
Or, try to re-embed your form using our iframe method: How to Get Form iFrame Codes. Iframe prevents most coding conflicts so we always recommend this.
Let us know for the results.
The plugin solved the problem. Thanks.
iFrame isn't a great solution because the sections of my form vary considerably. But I'll keep it in mind as a solution for future issues.

Actually, upon further inspection, the plug in did NOT solve the problem. Please see:
The accordion features do not expand/collapse as they should.
Using the iFrame method also doesn't work: only the first chunk of the form is displayed:
I am sorry, I am suddenly confused by your latest inquiry..
BUT there is no collapse field on it? I tested the form and was able to submit also.
Please update us when you can.
