capture form information even if the user couldnt submit the formAsked by 2adorable on June 13, 2013 at 08:16 PM
is there a easy solution to this? i have asked this question before. i would like to capture the customers information if they are not able to complete the form.
for example if a few questions are asked and the customer clicks "next" but then cant finish i am left with atleast the contact information.
is there a way that when they click next the information is saved and then emailed to me after a certain time if they have not completed the form?
Unfortunatelly, this is not doable at this time. The only means to capture the data/information is to succesfully submit the form.
The Save and Continue Form later method uses only session and cookies, it still will not save to your database the initial data/info.
My suggestion though is to still use the Save and Continue technique and make sure that the primary info/data you need are on the 1st form. This way, when the 1st form is submitted, you will be able to capture the initial important data -- while the user can continue on the 2nd form.
Hope this help. Please inform us if you have further inquiry.
