    Google Spreadsheet: Spreadsheet is not updating when Sub-User integrates the form

    Asked by andrewc2 on June 17, 2013 at 10:28 PM

    My integrations don't seem to be working after the my form was moved to the parent account, google spreadsheet isn't syncing automatically since the switch and email addresses aren't being added to mail chimp, I've tried re-doing the connection multiple times.

    Also it looks like I can't delete all submissions, I can delete individual ones but when it asks for my password and I enter the password for the account (which I just tested for login) it says "Wrong Password. Operation Aborted" perhaps it's looking for the parent accounts password?

    Hi, Thank you for contact us.

    My integrations don't seem to be working after the my form was moved to the parent account, google spreadsheet isn't syncing automatically since the switch and email addresses aren't being added to mail chimp

    Once you moved your form to parent account, now only the parent user can modify that form - so as integration also. Try re-integrate that form from your parent account if you are the parent user, else ask your parent user to do so.

    Because I am not able to see any forms in your account.

    Also it looks like I can't delete all submissions, I can delete individual ones but when it asks for my password and I enter the password for the account (which I just tested for login) it says "Wrong Password. Operation Aborted" perhaps it's looking for the parent accounts password?

    Yes, As I said, since it is moved to the parent account, Now the parent user only be able to delete those submissions.

    If this not helps you, please share your form URL for which you find this issue. So that we can further investigate.

    Thank you.

    I can modify the form, I can change things on the form, I can setup integrations. The integrations just don't auto update like they should.

    Since this is a sub account it should be able to do all functions of the parent account for the forms that are shared. Since this was originally attached to my account before everything was fixed, I don't see why it doesn't work.

    Like I said I can delete individual submissions but not all of them at once. I could understand that being the case if I also couldn't delete individual submissions but I can.

    @andrewc2

    Are you integrating the form while logged in on the sub-account "andrewc2"? If yes, can you please share to the the spreadsheet URL generated on the integration? Please make sure to give us permission we can test the form and the spreadsheet here.

    Yes, it requires the master account's password when you delete all submissions since the form still belongs to the master account and was just shared by you. That's the same function when you logged in using a non-sub account. That's to prevent mistakes like if the user didn't intentionally delete all submissions. However, you can delete them by manually deleting each submissions. That's how it works.

    Thanks!

    Yes, I'm connecting from my sub-account (andrewc2).

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmfjvKWJ4CVEdEc0ZE9uZ0RvWTZZY1dXZjRHM1pWTnc&usp=sharing

    I've set it to allow access.

    Alright I guess that makes sense. I may suggest that a new feature be added, forms that are created by a sub-account be able to delete all submissions at once.

    @ andrewc2

    Thanks. I was able to replicate the problem. I have tested it on my sub-account. I have now submitted this to our higher team for further investigation. We will let you know here once this is fixed. While waiting, we'd suggest to integrate the form to Google Spreadsheet using the main account for now.

    Regarding on the "Delete" all for sub-account, we will add that to our feature request list.

    Thanks and apologies for any inconveniences caused.

    I just want to make sure once this is fixed, mailchimp integration should work too correct?

    Tonight I should be able to access the parent account to get the integration setup for now.

    @andrewc2

    Hi, actually this thread and the issue ticket created for it was all about the integration to google spreadsheet not working as intended for sub-accounts.

    If you are currently having separate issue on MailChimp integration, I suggest you create a separate topic/thread for it. Use this link http://www.jotform.com/contact to create a new topic and we will attend to it as soon as we can.

    As for this current ticket, it was already assigned to our developer, and you will be notified at once when they have update about this ticket.

    Thanks.
