How to add affiliate tracking codes to the form?

Asked by Anysubject on June 22, 2013 at 05:32 AM

I'm probably missing something but ...

My problem is this. I want to set up an affiliate network for selling our services using Jotform to direct customers to Paypal. All of the affiliate tracking software goes on about 'sale confirmation pages' - how do I create one using Jotform?

A conventional shopping basket arrangenent is NOT appropriate because each service we provide requires the collection of different information not like a shopping basket which just needs delivery and billing addresses. This is much more complex which is why we use Jotform.

Thank you for your help - much appreciated.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your message.

For clarification, do you want users to go paypal after submitting the form and after the payment from the paypal page, it goes to your confirmation page? Or you mean, after submitting the form, it goes to the confirmation page before it directs to paypal?

Unfortunately the second one is not possible, we do not have option that shows the confirmation page first then direct to paypal. Our current tool automatically directs to paypal then to your thank you page after completing the payment by using Custom Thank you URL.

    Thank you!

    Hi

    No what I want is:

Customer fills in order form supplying us with necessary info to allow us to carry out the work - > Makes payment by Paypal -> Gets thanked and has any affiliate code read off and recorded.

Sounds like that's your 'No 1'. If so, there shouldn't be any problems (famous last words). Correct?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Well you setup a sort of product items and or services list into our Paypal Payment Tool? If so, this guides will help you:

To setup Order Form: Setting Up Your First Order Form

To add options such as quantities, custom properties to the Payment Tool: How To Add Options In The Payment Form

If you will setup the list of services/products, they will be redirected to Paypal Payment Page to pay after clicking submit button.
