I have integrated a Form with Mailchimp, the Form already had 35 or so submissioins, during the intiegration process there is a question that asked if you want to update MailChimp with exsisting contact, to which i answered Yes, expecting the 35 emails to be submitted to Mailchimp almost immediately ..... no i have been waiting now for nearly 6 hours and only 12 contacts have made it to Mailchimp......
Is this normal? is this a MAilchimp issue or Jotform?

Hi John and thank you for letting us know about this issue. I have taken a look at the problem and done some testing with MC on my end only to find that the Integration seems to be working as it should be. Can you please try removing the Integration then clear your form cache and also your browser cache. Now log back in and try the Integration again to see if this helps. Please let us know if you are still having issues.
Thank You for your response.
Followed your intructions to the letter...doesn't seem to have made any difference .
Any suggestions on where to go now please?

I have just tried the mailchimp integration with test 30 email addresses, and these addresses were immediately forwarded to the Mailchimp mailing list upon integration.
However, the Mailchimp has some kind of email validation, for example, email@example.com email address will be considered as invalid and will not be added to the mailing list.
It is probably that some part of email addresses were marked as invalid by Mailchimp. You can contact their support to investigate this issue.

I used the Jot form Export to Excel format, and then reduced the Excel file to include the Name and the Email and then Copied and pasted them into Mail Chimp and it all worked 100% perfect.
Thsi porves that the format of the emails is valid, i suspect that thee is an issue with the JotForm intiegration with Mail Chimp..
I would like to get an answer to this fomr the Jot Form support.

I have tried to reproduce the problem, but I was not able to do so.
At the bottom of the Mailchimp API Keys page (https://us4.admin.mailchimp.com/account/api/) you can find a Historical API calls by day section. Where the 'listBatchSubscribe' call is related to the 'Add existing contacts to MailChimp.' option. If it is marked with green mark, it means that our call was accepted by Mailchimp.
You may consider contacting Mailchimp to see if there were any problems with the API calls to your account. Thank you.

I checked that, and it gave about 12 items for today and all were accepted, however they were over a 7 to 8 hour period.... whcih is strange ... and also my list has 33 entores
So what is going on please?

I'm not able to reproduce the problem on my end as well. We appreciate your time looking into this matter and for your patience waiting us for further solutions.
One thing is that, I've check your form Mailchimp Integration and found out that the "Send Opt-In Email" is checked. I've made another test and found that this is causing your problem to happen. The existing contact will receive a "Confirmation Email" and if they will not approved or confirmed to subscribed, you will not see them on your list.
You may redo the process, remove the current integration, integrate again but be sure to uncheck the "Send Opt-In Email" so all contacts will be forwarded to your MailChimp list without having them to confirmed first.

OK, That would make some sense... I strongly suggest that it woudl be a good idea to put some form of advisory notice within the integration wizard to advise users of what will happen under these circumstances.
