    I amtesting it at the moment to see if it will work on a biggger scale but I am trying to pull the data from this formhttp://form.jotformpro.com/form/31062749171957

    into this form http://form.jotform.co/form/31753845232858

    This is the code I have

    http://form.jotform.co/form/31753845232858?name={nameOf}&PhoneNumber={phoneNumber}&emailaddress={emailAddress}

    but it doesn't seem to work - can someone help me with what I am doing wrong

    @UoNSU

    The URL parameters should have the actual field name excluding "_".

    Here is the sample url to prepopulate your form: http://form.jotform.co/form/31753845232858?fullName5[first]=test&phoneNumber=12345&emailAddress=sid@sid.com

    Please refer this guide for more information on this: http://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-the-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters

    Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Sidharth

    but how do i make this conditional on the information that the user has submitted? In your example I get only your information into the new form - I want the data typed on the original form to be the data i get in the second form.

    I have it working in the example below for the first name field only, but it does not pull the information from other fields

    You will need to set the Send Post Data to 'Yes' in Setup & Embed > Preferences > Advanced Settings.

    You will to create a PHP page that will forward the data to your other form.  Click here for a more detailed instruction on how to send data to another form. You can also check this link for a live sample.

    I am sorry this is not helpful.......I do not see where to configure or
    custom code......I do see several examples that fit my need by not how or
    where to do it.
    Essentially I want to dynamically pass values from one jot form to another
    prepopulating the second to from with values from the first.
    does this require custom code if yes is there an example of how to do it.
    It is only a few fields that I want to pass.

    We are very proud to announce that our amazing team of developers have released Jotform Webhooks,  this feature would replace Send Post Data + Custom URL Thank You Page workaround in order to help you transfer forms data to your own database using a script code

    Please find out more about it here
