    Hi,

I have generated a few CSV files from either Reports or Submission combining widget and French special characters do not get generated only a black diamond.

1590331037French-special.png Example shows what I'm getting in these CSV files. I could show many more but I don't think that is required.

Is there a way to set the CSV for UNICODE, UFT8? I think that would work. Or is there something at my end I could do?

    Thanks, Robert

    Hello Robert,

Unfortunately, there no option you can set the encoding of the file before you can export it. I have this ticket sent to our backend team to see if they can make it as a default. I believe it is currently set to Western Europian (Windows). Once we have an update, you will be notified here.

In the meantime, re-saving the file as Unicode (UTF-8) will fix it. You can also download as Excel in the submissions/report page, and save it as a separate file in CSV format. The Excel encoding is automatically copied.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Just an FYI... Uploading the file to G-sheets fixes it.

    Best, Robert
