Square: Send Payment Receipt is enabled but Square is not sending the receipt to customers

    I cannot get square to send a receipt once I complete a transaction.  The form is in live mode (not test mode) and the option "yes" is on for the following:

    Send Payment Receipt
    Send an email with a link to the Square receipt to the customer.
    Is there a time lag?  The payment can be seen in my our square account but an email receipt has not been sent.

    We apologize for the inconvenience. 

    Yes, I can see your integration is set up correctly with the email field as the customer email and the receipt is enabled. There are existing tickets submitted to our backend team for the same problem, so I think it's ongoing. 

    I have added this ticket to existing L2 reports. We will update this ticket for you as soon as we have an update on this.

    Unfortunately, this issue is still not resolved. I will check with our developers if there is any update. If there is we will inform you via this support ticket.
