    Hi

I wonder if you could help me please?

I have set up some forms to email various copies of forms to the respondents. When you get the email and try and open the pdf attachment it says that the file cannot be viewed as it is corrupt.

This appears to be happening on STO student registration details form (although I haven't tested the STP and CPS registration form yet, so it may happen on those too as they were all cloned from STP)

Could somebody please advise if it is set up correctly, or if there is something I need to do please?

    Many thanks

I checked your STO form, https://form.jotform.com/201262189245352, but could not find any autoresponder email, are you instead referring to issues with notification emails?

Also, when you say PDF attachment, are you referring to uploaded files by the user or the PDF Submission Report?

Can you please share to us a sample submission ID and a screenshot of the email and the attachment.

If the issue persists, may we make test submissions within your forms?

So, in the form I have set up some of the pdf's in the form to be emailed to the respondent when they have completed the form. They receive an email with the attachments, but when I go in to try and view them, it says that they are corrupted

As I check your Jotform, I notice that there are few PDF files embedded on your form. It seems that the screenshot provided is displaying some of them. We are sorry that there seems to be an issue with attaching the PDF files embedded on the form are not being attached to the email. I am forwarding the issue to our backend team to look into. We'll get back to you with any update as soon as we have any news in this regard.

The issue with the truncated text in the email notification is due to the character limit of 65k in the email. Since there are more number of fields on your form and combined with the data entered in the submission might be exceeding the limit resulting to truncate. As a workaround you may consider creating a PDF report using the PDF editor and attach it to the email notification. You may also place a direct link to the view submission data or the link to the PDF report in the email.

    Hope this information helps!
