How can I get the unique field code for the language?

Hi,

So we have a form that is both in French (translated language) and in Dutch (default language). I would need to get the unique field ID for this data, I tried using {language} but this doesn't return the language value that I would need.

What is the correct unique field ID for this data?

To clarify, do you want to get the language values when it is switched to be shown in your form?

You may use conditions to  show the language selected and assign it to a field.
