individually dispaying month, day, year data in a notification email

Asked by Masalamedia on July 05, 2013 at 03:37 PM

I am trying to get my dates to appear in a notification email in a format my global team can reliably undertand (3/2/2013 is unacceptable because some will read that as march 2 and others will see february 3).

In the properties of my date field there is a tantalizing hint that the month, day, and year can be separately reported or displayed, but no documentation or obvious way to know how to use that.

Please advise if #month_9, #day_9, and #year_9 can be used in my notification email and if so, how? I tried a number of times to get them to work but got nowhere.

My goal is to have my notification email display the date as

    03-MAR-2013

    or

    02-FEB-2013

    Hi,

In order to achieve this, you will have to change the Date Format for the field itself. To do this, you will have to:

    1. Select the Date Picker field

    2. Select Date Format

    3. Select ddmmyyyy

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.
