I upgraded our form (previously encrypted) to HIPAA and now I cannot see our data

    Don't see an option to upload our key. Also the encrypted data field is not in the form setting anymore. Can you please help ASAP?

    Our apologies for the inconvenience. When upgrading to HIPAA, encryption was turned off for forms. I'm afraid we will not be able to decrypt form responses that were encrypted before upgrading to HIPAA. The only solution would be to disable HIPAA and decrypt submissions by uploading a key.

    Hi Jimmy,

    How come I can't use my private key to decrypt the submissions? Also I did turn off encryption before upgrading to HIPAA so I'm not sure why this happened to one of my forms. My other forms are fine. 

    If disabling HIPAA is the only solution, do I do it in the data section and click the disable HIPAA compliance button?

    Data that was encrypted before upgrading to HIPAA will remain encrypted forever; The only way for you to see them is with the private key. Being encryption disabled on the HIPAA account, the system will not ask you for the private key to see any data. Unless you have already saved those data somewhere disabling HIPAA compliance on your account is the only way. (You will nee to enable it again to keep your forms HIPAA compliant...)
