Encryption key issues

I acquired a new laptop and having had jotforms for some time forgot about the encryption key. On sign-on on new machine i realised that all submissions were encrypted and without thinking created another encryption key. However, it became obvious that only new submissions will be visible with new encryption key. I have since found my old encryption key and restored it but it added the dilemma that i now have to toggle between keys in order to see submissions before and after the change date. It was a nuisance but a workaround.

However it is no longer working and even though i have two keys it now only allows for either all submissions to be encrypted or only the ones prior to the change date to be visible, even if i switch between keys. All new submissions remain encrypted.

    Could you assist.

Unfortunately there is no other solution to resolve this issue. The older submissions that you have received can only be decrypted with the older key file. The new submissions that you are receiving can be decrypted with the new key.

I would suggest you to please clone your form and use the cloned form to receive new submissions. The following guide should help you on how to clone your existing form: https://www.jotform.com/help/27-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-Your-Account

    Hope this helps.
