change format on date contact was added

the "created at" date that i recieve into Zapier .... can i change the format to MM/DD/YY      

it comes in now as yyyy-mm-dd.

or 

is there a widget field that can be hidden that will populate todays date 

You can add a Date field on the form and hide it.

Then you will be able to adjust the format of the date. You will be also able to set it to obtain the current date. Please refer to the attachment.
