Auto-responder message after form is completed

    Hello guys,

I'm currently assessing a few online patient registration form providers for my Obstetrics Clinic in Australia.

I just have a quick query as I couldn't find this mentioned under the JotForm features:

After a patient completes and submits the form, will a confirmation (auto-responder) be triggered to them?

If so, is this responder customisable (i.e. is there dynamic fields where I can insert patient names, appointment times, etc)?

If this feature is not available, what's the best app to integrate that supports this?

    Thank you so much!

    Best,

    Lexus

    Hello Lexus,

There is an auto-responder feature that you can customize as you wish.

When you create a form, there will be an AUTORESPONDER mail that came with the form. Also, you can add as many AUTORESPONDER as you want as your use case requires.

Below are the steps and a gif that shows these steps to follow:

    1. In the Form Builder click SETTINGS tab

    2. Click EMAILS tab

    3. Click the AUTORESPONDER's edit button

    4. Here below there is a field named as Email Content that represents the mail which will be sent

    5. At the top right of this field, there is Form Fields dropbox. This dropbox will include all of your form elements. For example, if you put a name field in your form, this name field will be available here to use in the mail.

    6. In the gif, you can see that I wrote "Hello" and then choose Name field from Form Fields. Hence, when the person fills the form, s/he will get an email starts with "Hello -the name of the person-"
