    Broken links to existing uploaded files

    We are getting the following error message upon opening file uploads from our form.  These uploads were there at one time, but now all have been replaced with "39__" and "14__" instead of the user given file name.


    "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. AccessDeniedAccess DeniedFC10D44F9419CB2AcBEVyG8KSba35cqgmKOlkmm3e3qBrzNPAEesC3PjNO7TG+t2g7N9T2qFGeD6oJUc"


    Any ideas as to a solution and what happened??

    Hello mikemaas.  We're currently investigating the issue.  Can you tell us when was the last time you checked the submissions with the uploaded file names still in tact?

    In addition, can you still download the files from the links from the email notifications you have received?

    Liyam, we will do some checking.   In further reviewing the data, it appears only submissions after 06/20/2013 at 07:00:45 are affected, but not all of them were affected, some are viewable.

    We have confirmed that for those broken on the submissions database, the links in the receipts do not work either.

    Thanks for your response, mikemaas.

    Were there any edits done on these submissions in the submissions page?  So far I'm trying to replicate the possibilities that might have caused this but I could not.

    liyam, I do not know for certain, but I do not believe so.

    I checked our backups but I cannot find a file for submission 239625680022107201. 

    It is more likely that the files were never uploadd successfully. So, it could be a problem on the form or on the page. If can get the files from your client and try to upload the same files you might be able to re-create the problem. If we can re-create a problem we can fix it.
