Yes, I know that Acrobat reader allows the addition of a signature in image format, but I asked how I could do it from jotform, adding an image and positioning that image in the signature field of the pdf as it happens for the other fields that I fill in the form

Hi, thank you for your response.
Unfortunately, you can't add an image and map it to your PDF. However, you can make use of one of our signature widgets that would allow you to map and position a signature to your PDF. After the user submitted the form, the signature will be placed and positioned to the PDF.

ok, but what i needed is to put my signature in png format in a pdf field without having to draw it every time

Sorry, but you can't map an image to your PDF form. It's not possible in Jotform's PDF converted forms yet.
