    Is there a way you are able to track changes towards a form?

    We use the form to track changes to a project but when the form enter is manually changed, there is no way for us to track the change history.

    Can you help?

    @sdksupport

    I am not sure if I have understood your question. Do you want to track changes of submission data if it is edited / changed manually?

    That sounds like a good feature request. Please help us understand your requirement and we will forward this to our dev team.

    Thanks,

    Sidharth

    Hi Sidharth

    Your assumptions are correct. We use a form to confirm a item is completed however when this item needs amendments, we need to edit the form. This is currently possible but there is no way to track more than one change on a form.

    So basically what i am asking for is a way of performing track changes on a form

    Thanks

    Hi, Whenever you change/Edit your form submissions, you will receive a mail - Notification right?

    I think from that you can maintain the history of changes and copy of each submissions from your mail inbox.

    But, it seems to be a good feature to add in the Jotform. I will open a feature request ticket on behalf of you. Our Developers will see this. But, I cannot provide any ETA on this.

    Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

    If the user edits the form you should be getting another notificatoin email. Wouldn't those emails serve as a way to track their changes?

    Hi,

    Did this development ever get done?

    Whilst I understand the thought behind checking emails, if the form contains a lot of information and only something has changed slightly, it would be good that the change stands out.

    @VCE

    Even though you've asked a related question I've moved it over here https://www.jotform.com/answers/992376 as a new question so that we can help you separately as this thread is rather old.
