Feature for: Track changes in the form Submissions.Asked by sdksupport on July 19, 2013 at 06:02 AM
Is there a way you are able to track changes towards a form?
We use the form to track changes to a project but when the form enter is manually changed, there is no way for us to track the change history.
Can you help?
I am not sure if I have understood your question. Do you want to track changes of submission data if it is edited / changed manually?
That sounds like a good feature request. Please help us understand your requirement and we will forward this to our dev team.
Your assumptions are correct. We use a form to confirm a item is completed however when this item needs amendments, we need to edit the form. This is currently possible but there is no way to track more than one change on a form.
So basically what i am asking for is a way of performing track changes on a form
Hi, Whenever you change/Edit your form submissions, you will receive a mail - Notification right?
I think from that you can maintain the history of changes and copy of each submissions from your mail inbox.
But, it seems to be a good feature to add in the Jotform. I will open a feature request ticket on behalf of you. Our Developers will see this. But, I cannot provide any ETA on this.
Let us know if you need further assistance.
If the user edits the form you should be getting another notificatoin email. Wouldn't those emails serve as a way to track their changes?
