    Hi,

    RE: 81646514559970

I notice that when I look at submissions by clicking at the "unread" count on My Forms page, for this form, I see a field displayed called "Total         1+" But when I look at the same submission using inbox, that field is not displayed.

I checked the form and I cannot find this field anywhere.
I commented out all CSS code and it still did not appear as a field.

Can you help explain what this is and perhaps locate on my form?...

    Many thanks, Robert

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us.

I have cloned your form and sent test submissions but unfortunately, I couldn't replicate the issue.

I have now cleared your account form caches. Please try to check the submission inbox again and get back to us if the issue still persists.

    Hi,

Well that just confuses me further, it is still showing???

    1596032458what is this 2 Screenshot 10

    FYI
I do not want to recreate the form as this is not a problem just a weird field showing up when viewing submissions for this form only on "My Forms" page only.
It is not showing on Autoresponder or notifiers email nor is it an option to add.

This is low priority so don't spend needless time trying to resolve it.

    Have a great day, Robert

Hi Robert, I have followed your steps however, I can't seem to replicate the issue at my end.

My sample form doesn't show a + total when viewing unread messages when the continue form later feature is turned on.

I have cleared your form cache.

If the issue still persists, let us know so that we can investigate this further.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Your associate did the same, cleared cache, and nothing has changed. That has no effect... I tried two browsers and I see the same results. (Chrome, Edge)

Please feel free to check this out on my account.

Did you look at the code I highlighted above, is that of any help in finding the source... something about a "jfAnswer, jfSubmission-Answer" etc... It appears to be some Java-Script code of yours that is creating the field...

    Thanks, Robert

    Hi Robert,

On the Submission view page for that form as a whole, can you click on the 'Columns' option and then search 'Total' - do you see that column is enabled for your search?

If you untick 'Total', does that field then go away when you view the individual submissions?

    Hi,

It took me a bit of time to find it as it was not being used for any tab. When I did find it and  selected it to show, I was able to delete that column. NOW ALL IS GOOD. ..😂 it is no longer showing.

Now I remember adding it. I was trying to create a column that incremented by 1 for every submission, then I could sort ascending or descending. There is no method of doing this currently, as numeric fields are entered as text on the sheet and do not sort correctly.  I have submitted a ticket some time ago to get this issue resolved and I have not heard back.

Perhaps you could help me add a column that increments for every submission...

In any case thank you for resolving the issue...👍

    Best, Robert

Do you want to add a counter specific to any field on your form or as an entire submission?

You may add a submission counter widget which informs you how many submissions have been completed so far.

The widget will increase the count as soon as a response is submitted.

Let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

THIS IS ACTUALLY A TOTALLY DIFFERENT ISSUE FROM ORIGINAL QUESTION

Yes, I use the Unique Widget now. It populates the sheet as text not numeric so trying to sort will not work correctly. I have reported this in the past and it has not been corrected.

If you sort by date or submission id it will sort correctly but not by Unique ID widget. Try it your self, note you need a submission count greater then 20 to see the error.

This image demonstrates the problem. Note where number 2 starts.

    Thank you, Robert
