jotform code not working in Joomla

Asked by rabelardo on May 08, 2011 at 01:56 PM

    good day.

i followed the procedure detailed below on how to paste the jotform code in Joomla but the form doesn't materialize.

after updating the html code in the Joomla html text editor, applying and saving changes, the form still doesn't show.

when i check the html code again, the jotform code is gone.

what should i do to get this right?

    thanks.

here's the instruction for the joomla paste command from the Embed Form Wizard:

If you see a "Plugin Manager" on your Joomla:Go to plugin manager and click on tiny TinyMCE 2.0 Go to plugin parameters. Select "never" on "Code cleanup" on save option. Then save it. Find the page you would like to add the form and click on "Edit" icon. On the editor textarea, click on the "HTML" icon. On pop-up "HTML Source Editor", copy and paste the code above.

    Hi,

Would it be possible to provide us the link to your Joomla site? This is so we can visualize and inspect your codes for reasons as to why the form is not showing up. Thank you for your cooperation. We will gladly await your response.

    Hi there,

I did a bit of reading in the joomla forum [http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=2580150]
and it appears that the option  of 'code clean up' has been removed on  Joomla 1.7 .

A workaround is to use jumi or jce, please visit this thread for more information:

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
