Problems with Unique ID

    Hi there,

I'm trying to test the JotForm.  I am previewing via the JotForm function and then submitting.  I am getting the same very odd number for the {id}, which I call BookingID.  The number appears to be stuck on 1708196734148276, despite the fact that I have customised the prefix at KK-  and restarted the counter at '0'.  I'm confused.

Also, it is possible to have a drag-and-drop function, so that this unique ID (or other fields for that matter) can be included in the thank you message.  Creating a custom PHP page is a bit beyond me ...

    Thanks

    Julie

Hi there - sorted out my problem.  I was using the wrong ID - I should have been using booking ID not (unique) ID.  Amazing what coffee will do for solving one's problems.  However, my question still stands about the insertion of form fields into the thank you.  It would be nice if it could be done within the application.

    Hi,

The ID that you're seeing is the Submission ID. The name for your form's Unique ID is Booking ID and not just ID

If you scroll down on the submission entry and to the right of the submissions table, you would find this:

To make your Unique ID show up at the top of the submission pages, drag your form's Unique ID field (in form edit mode) to the top of the form.

Regarding your request, I have forwarded it to our user requests list. Our development  team will take a look into your suggestion and decide if it's fit for implementation.

We cannot give a lead time for completion though, as this will still be subject for approval. We will notify you via this thread about the status of your request.
