Recover Form Before Automatic SavedAsked by Steve99 on July 28, 2013 at 09:19 AM
I recently became aware that you have changed the way email notifications and auto responders work.
In attempting to get my forms that have worked faultlessly for years to work with the latest system I have trashed the email part so it is useless- the auto save kicked in.
I there any way I can return to the original forms, ie pre July 28th edits?
Unfortunately there is no way to revert back your form from its previous state. I would suggest creating a clone of your form before making changes to it for back up purposes. Another suggestion would be to disabled the form autosave.
The notification changes that was made is to allow the use of SMTP . The notification issue could be resolve however by simply changing the sender email to firstname.lastname@example.org although If the user intends to use a custom email address, the user will need to use the SMTP.
If you have any other questions you would like to ask, please contact us again.
Thanks for the reply,
Normally, I would create a clone, however, might I suggest the disable Auto Save option might be a bit more visible.
Please create a separate thread regarding your request so we could forward it to our developers to consider the suggestion you've made.
