not able to download a file from a link send to me by other user. it always show 404 screen

Can you please let us know from which platform are you trying to download the link? Is it from email attachment? Or is it a direct link? Or from a mobile?
Moreover copy the link address and try to open it with incognito mode.
If it didn't work then please try to open the link while being logged in , in Jotform.

I am having links in my excel sheet and I am coping the link and simply pasting it on google Chrome url box. I also tried in incognito but same problem. I also tried while been logged in. But same error screen.

Yes, that is correct. You will need permission to access it. In fact, they will have to disable the following option in the account settings for you to access the file.
