Adding options to Product List

When adding options to items in my product list, I need to add the option for size, however, I am unable to add this without a predefined label appearing (i.e. "t-shirt size").  If I can't have a custom/user defined label (i.e. SIZE), I would prefer no label at all.  Is either a user-defined OR no label possible?  thank you.

Please note that you can manually add the options and change the label in the products. Even if you add the list from the presets, you can edit the label that you want to display in form. Please check the screenshot below:
