    Hi Support Team,

I have designed a new confirmation form as per the link. I have styled the form fields using the Theme designer however have ran into a few issues when it comes to the single / multi choice option fields as per the attached screenshot.

It seems to now have a combination of the styles? It looks OK in the Theme Designer mode however when previewing the form the fields for the tick and tick boxes does not look how it is meant to in the Theme Designer?

I have tested the issue. I have replicated it on my end. I created a ticket and informed our development team.

We cannot provide an ETA on the issues fixed. However, you will be notified when it's fixed via this thread.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Just an update as I started a new form using the single choice and dropdown options and unfortunately am having the same issues on both single selection and dropdown menus? I have attached screenshots.

It does seem strange that the form appears correct in the form design and style however in build, preview and on my website it does not?

I have also just discovered (been advised by a client) that the calendar from the Date field does not work either? Not sure if all of these issues are linked?  I did notice that the fields for the time are unusually close together and discovered that the "date selector" or calendar does not open to select a date?

I might remove this form from my website until the issues are fixed and it is working properly.

I tried to search for your form however, it seems you have deleted it.

You may clone my sample  form instead however, I have updated the form's theme so that the datepicker field and multiple choice fields would work.

This issue has been escalated already to our developers.

For now, I would like you to clone my sample form and use that while the issue is still being investigated.

    Thanks, I had to clone the form a few times as I discovered that;

    1. Any changes I made even page and / form background colour meant that the calendar pop up on the cloned form would not work either.

    2. Any CSS even change to button style or colour also meant that the form did not work properly (calendar function would not work)

I have left the clone form as sent (edited the PayPal payment login and Auto Complete Address widget Google API details. The form is under description of Confirm Ceremony Details

    https://form.jotform.co/202266751144855

I would like to change the colours to match my other forms however I have left the original form and hopefully that one can work properly soon?

    Kind regards,

    Adrian Downey

Upon checking the form, it seems that the issue is with theme. It could be a caching problem, but let's wait for our developers investigation.

In the meantime, the problem with styling went away after changing the theme.

    Screencast:

Kindly check my screencast and see if changing the form theme resolves the issue with a stuck styling on your form.

    Looking forward for your response.

    Hi,

Yes I reset the theme and the issue went away. I then went to make the colour changes and field changes again and the issue returned?

I would be happy to keep the clone form style however I am not able to edit or customise or add style on this form either or the issue returns with the date picker field?

I have managed to change the page and form background colour of the cloned form to match my web page colours and the form is ok. It seems when I went to change the button colours to match my page theme that the issues with the form returned.

The form is located on my web page https://www.adriandowney.com.au/confirm/

    Hi JotForm Support Team,

I just went into another form (Notice of Intended Marriage form) https://www.jotform.com/build/201841802960048 and made a minor edit to CSS, saved it and now all the drop down fields and multi / single options of this form have also gone the same as the Ceremony Confirmation form https://www.jotform.com/build/202256650278052

It seems to affect the format of all drop down, date, time and single / multi option fields?

I won't make any further format, CSS or style changes to my forms until this has been resolved.

    Kind regards,

    Adrian Downey

It doesn't reflect the actual changes applied in the advanced designer into the form builder. Unfortunately, we haven't received an update from our L2 team regarding this, but we'll let you know as soon as we have an update.

Yes thank you, that is correct when in Advanced / Theme designer it comes across and looks correct however when back in builder and preview it is not?

On another note, the form that was put together and I cloned contained a different File Upload that enables (Drag and Drop as well as Browse files) which I actually prefer to the button only to attach a file in the Classic Form. Is it possible to have the Drag and Drop to Upload Files in the Notice of Intended Marriage form to replace the current button to search for files?

    Kind regards,

    Adrian

I assume this is all linked to the issue that will be resolved soon however the reason that I originally went into my Notice of Intended Marriage form (https://www.jotform.com/build/201841802960048 )  was to increase the size of the fields by 4px. As you can see by the image that the small increase in field size seemed to cause an issue with the form in the Advance Theme Designer mode?

Hi adriandowney, for now I would suggest not to use the advanced designer for now while the issue is being investigated.

We can use custom CSS in adding padding to your form fields.

If you need assistance with your form, you may create a new support ticket and we would gladly assists you.

    Thank you.

Hi, I have changed all my classic form to the Upcoming Theme. I have been able to change the page and form background colours and also the button with CSS for now until this issue is resolved that is all I will edit.

The forms are functional. Once properly resolved I will attempt to change the single select button colour and some other minor changes.

    Kind regards,

    Adrian Downey.

Thanks, no problem. Yes so far the Upcoming theme is functioning well.

My only issue I guess is that at the bottom of the Ceremony Confirmation form https://www.jotform.com/build/202268162835860 I have a PayPal payment option where the user can add an amount to pay to finalise their booking. The payment box field goes the entire width of the form which is a bit much for just a $ amount. I have tried to use CSS #input_34_donation and set a field width however this does not seem to work?
