Your demo video shows when you drag and drop a field into the form, the field name shows up on the left of the field. Every time I do it, the field name shows up above the field. I tried clicking on field align, and chose left, but that didn't do what I wanted. Can you give me instructions on how to have my field name on the same line as my field please?

You should be able to left align the label. Click to the field > Find and Click "Align" button from the field properties - above the toolbar > Set to "Left":
Are you not able to do this? If yes, please let us know the form URL so we can check. Let us know the field as well.

The fom URL is http://form.jotform.co/form/32018147315850. None of the fields will left align - Name , Email, etc.

You need to decrease your form label (e.g. 150px) width as the label width is occupying the form width causing the alignment stays on top then set the alignment to left to have the label align left. To change the label width, click the Form Style tab then click the Label Width icon. The current value is 390, changes it to smaller like 150.
Another way to resolve the issue is by increasing your form width.
