    PayPal Submit Button And Thank You Email Notificatiom

    Asked by ipbr21054 on August 05, 2013 at 08:07 AM

    1, I have decided to replace the standard Submit button with a paypal button.

    Here is the page in question  http://www.ianparsons.info/fordradiocode.htm

    I did this to change the button as per other post.

    Click on button image,enter url for paypal button,ok,center button & click on save.

    The paypal button is not center on the form.

    The old submit button outline can still be seen and spoils the look.

    The paypal button works but only when you are inside the border of the old submit button.

    I need the old submit button erased & replaced with the paypal button.

    I need the paypal button to be center on the form.

    2, With the form completed and the submit / paypal button pressed you are then taken to paypal of which you then sign in & pay for the item.

    The SELLER receives the form from the site showing it with the buyers completed details.

    The SELLER receives a paypal notification showing customer has paid.

    The BUYER only receives a paypal notification.

    I need the BUYER to also receive some kind of notification from the form even if its just Thank You for your order

    Please investigate.

    For the first issue, try reducing your PayPal button image to 140px and you will have a result similar to the screenshot below.

    For the second issue, you can create an autoresponder notification to have your customer received an email from you. The content of the autoresponder can be customize using the notification email.

    You can also get rid of the red border by changing the button style property to "None".

     to fix the width of the paypal image you can resize the image as @jefreylandicho advice, or inject this custom css code to your form

    #input_7 {

    width: auto !important;

    }

    Also you can take a look at this Guide to configure a thank you page.

    Thanks!

    Or is this auto response the incorrect thing i need.

    I just need the customer to receive some visual note on the screen to say thankyou or email to say thankyou.

    You must remember that i only have a paypal button on my form.

    Please supply likns etc as the test email that you send yourself does not rely tell you much.

    An explanation as to how each field needs to be completed or explanation of what the customer will see is required.

    The test email just confirms my email is correct on the form.

    The customer will get the notification once the paypal payment is done,  it will ask the customer to redirect to the thank you page.

    So the paypal button is clicked.

    Customer is then taken to paypal log in screen.

    Customer logs in and makes payment.

    Then customer must click something on the screen to see the thankyou message ?

    Is this correct.

    Is there an option where the customer is not required to click something on the screen to see a thank you message ?

    I mean click submit,pay the invoice,then automatically show a screen saying thank you.

    I think i read somewhere that in a meta tag etc you add something like return within the code ?

    Not being 100% up on this code lark i am asking for your help.

    Is what i type true as i cant find this post now.

    You can try setting a Return URL in your PayPal account that would redirect you to a Thank you page automatically after a payment is made. A guide on how to create a Return URL in your PayPal can be found on this link.

    Please advise how to now delete the auto response that was attached to this form thus still be able to use the form,just delete the auto response.
