Asked by MQQ on August 07, 2013 at 09:40 AM

    Hello,

I need to translate this error message :

"... has invalid extension. Only pdf, doc, etc....."

It is not in the Edit Form Warnings section. Where is it? How can I translate it?

    Thank you.

Thank you for contacting support JotForm,

Actually you can not change that warning  message ,from the edit form section, therefore, I will escalate this request to our development team in order to add the option to change the error message too.

I'll let you know when we have news about your requirement.

    thanks

Hi just to be clear, this isn't about file picker tool. Its about the normal "File upload" tool.

For this matter we will do our best to make that message translatable. We will update you if we manage to make things work.

    Thank you for you patience,
    Kenneth

UPDATE: We manage to made some updates about this.
You are now able to edit the error messages of the multiple fileuploader.
Look at the wizard we have added 5 new messages to edit.

Please do take note, as much as possible do not replace or edit the text with curly brackets nor the brackets itself they are special strings. However, if you wanted to do not include filenames, size, extensions on the error message then you can get rid of them.

It'll look something like this. If you edit the error messages.
PS: The message is in my dialect :)

Please confirm if this works from your end.

    Thank you for your patience,
    Kenneth
