Elements of my form have disappeared

    Hi there,

I was working on a form yesterday and when I went back to work on it further today I saw that elements of the form had disappeared.

I had added a picture/logo at the top of the form and it was gone.

One of my questions on the form (which website? for registrant #4) was gone.

I had added text just under the header with some additional info - that was gone.

I did NOT delete these elements.

Is this a known issue?  I just signed up for JotForm a couple of days ago so I am hopeful that this isn't something that happens regularly or else I will need to cancel my subscription fast.

The form I was working on was: https://form.jotform.com/202326353499055

Please let me know what's happening.

    Angela

The builder page of the form has an auto-save feature and changes made to your form will be automatically saved as long as you are properly logged to your account.

This isn't a known issue and this doesn't normally happen with our forms. We have also not received any reports of the same from other users yesterday and today.

Can you check the revision history tool of your form to see the changes you made yesterday? Perhaps you can still revert back to your form's status yesterday.

Thank you Mike.  I can see in the revision history when some of the items were changed/removed, however this doesn't answer why they were changed/removed when I didn't do that.

At any rate, glad it's not a known issue. I'll let you know if it happens to me again.  I've been dealing with other issues with Jotform, but have others working on those tickets.

Changes on a form can only be done on its builder page and you must be logged to the account the form is under to make changes to it. Making changes to the form may also be possible through API, but it is very unlikely if you haven't set it up.

If there was an issue while you were creating your form, it was probably just a temporary glitch.

If, in any case, the issue happens again, please do not hesitate to contact us anytime and we will be glad to help you.
