Bug: eSignature Moves and is not useable on Windows 8 Phone (Nokia Lumia 925) when attempting to SignAsked by PowersDistributing on August 08, 2013 at 12:59 PM
When attempting to sign the form on Nokia Lumia 925 with Windows Phone 8 the whole webpage moves with finger, making it impossible to sign the signature on the form. I really need this to work.
Hi and thanks for bringing this to our Attention. Unfortunately on my end I'm not really seeing a way to fully test this further unless I go through a long process of setting up the Microsoft Win 8 Phone SDK with Visual Basic just to investigate it more. I say that because I don't have a Windows 8 Phone, I only have a Windows 8 Computer but it's not touch either.
Because of that I'm turning this issue over to our Developers since they will be able to better assist with this problem since it's most likely a coding issue that is causing this from the sound of it. However, if I'm able to figure out a quicker way to test it then i'll let you know and update this thread.
Additionally I would also like to gather further info about this problem. When you mention " whole webpage " are you talking about JotForm Builder, Preview Mode, Your Live Form, Your Website with the Live Form on it, Or? Can you please clarify about this to help us better understand exactly where and how this is happening and what you are doing when this occurs?
I should have been clearer.... It is when using the live form. Rather than the page staying put and your finger drawing the signature, it moves the page with your finger, just like when moving your finger outside the signature box on iPhone.
It's quite alright and thank you for the further clarification. That's what I was thinking you were talking about but I just wanted to confirm it to be 100% sure. We will certainly try to get back to you about this issue as soon as possible so we'd appreciate any patience you can give us with this for now until it's been resolved.
