Why is text disappearing when I try to edit a form, and then is unrecoverable with 'undo'?

    Jotforms has been great but we see 'bugs' in here when text disappears (literally) when we open a box to edit! Undo does not recover. Have also had text not saving edits when made so we have to go back and rewrite an entire box/form.  Can't give a screen shot because there is nothing to show - text disappeared as soon as I opened the box to edit!

    Hi Amy

    That's a most unusual problem. I have been trying to find posts from other JotForm users who have experienced the same issue but so far I have been unable to locate any. Is this happening to all of your forms? Also, does it occur regardless of the browser used? If there's any additional information you can provide about this bug, please do so.

    Thanks.

    This has happened to me also. I am using firefox. It just happened to me today. Is there any way to prevent the form from auto saving.

    Is there a way to get at previous revisions.

    @whistlerjazz,

    Thank you for your message. You can disable the autosave function by right clicking on any portion of the form canvass (outside the form fields) and toggle Enable/Disable Auto Save selecton as shown below:

    For more information, please visit this tutorial - http://www.jotform.com/help/86-How-to-Disable-Auto-Save. We regularly back up your form, so if in case you need a copy of your form like how it looked like yesterday, we can get it for you.

    Please let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you for using JotForm!
