JotForm Capability Questions

Hello,

Can you help me with a few questions about your product? 

I am an Athletic Therapist and currently teach a live online group class to patients recovering from Caesarian birth. I would like to issue them each a medical receipt so they can claim the class fee with their health insurance benefits. For this to happen, I must keep SOAP notes for each student, for each of the four classes.

Here's the problem: this is massively labour intensive on my part. Can you help with the following?

- I'd like to know if JotForm SOAP note template can be accessed and completed by patients themselves. If so....

- I currently use Jane App as charting software and don't really want two charting softwares. Can JotForm info be uploaded easily to Jane App? If so....

- I receive payment for classes through my course hosting platform (Podia) and not through Jane. Do you see a problem with this in JotForm's ability to generate a receipt that can be claimed through health insurance? What workarounds would you suggest?

- can you walk me through each step for the above to happen? (i.e. which JotForm package I must sign up for, how a patient creates and accesses their own account, how I notify them of SOAP notes to complete, etc)

Hi Janette,

Once you create a form, a user can access the form if they have the link - so yes if you share the link they will be able to access the form. They don't need their own JotForm account, just the link you share with them.

I've checked but I can't see an immediate connector for Jane & JotForm, but it's still possible you can connect them. If it's got a shared calendar that Jane can access you could connect it via that (we have several calendar connection apps such as this one). Alternatively, you could also connect it directly using the API.

And you can customise the notification email and attachments in any way you like, as such the receipt should be able to have the features & information you need.

In terms of the JotForm packages the difference is with the limits, you can build the same form for each. An overview of the limits is available here. I think the 'Payment Submissions' limit might be the limit you have to note, depending on how many payments you expect for the forms.
